Thanks to all who attended last week’s presentation on the “Twilight of the Confederacy.” Hopefully you gained some insight into the nature and significance of both Sherman‘s Carolinas Campaign and Grant’s March Offensive at Petersburg, culminating in the Battle of Five Forks.

For those of you who wish to pursue this further, reading suggestions are provided at the end of the presentation, which can be downloaded below.
